Parsons Memorial Library is closed to in-person services until further notice. Curbside services are available.
Parsons Memorial Library will be starting temporary winter hours on Monday, December 14th. On Mondays and Wednesdays, we will now be opening at 11am, and closing at 6pm. Tuesday and Saturday hours will remain the same. This will remain in effect until further notice.
Mon: 11-6; Tue: 10-4; Wed: 11-6; Sat: 10-3
At this time, we are still only offering curbside services. You can search for books using the online catalog

The mission of the Parsons Memorial Library is to provide materials and services that fulfill
educational, informational, cultural and recreational needs of the entire community
in a welcoming and respectful atmosphere.

Free downloadable eBooks for a variety of e-readers are available by signing up for a Portland Public Library card. Residents of York County are eligible for a free card through the Partner Library (PAL) program. Membership in the PPL gives access to a number of online services. This program also offers downloadable audiobooks.
Friends of the Library ongoing book sale in the library Reading Room. Hardcovers $1.00, Paperbacks .50 Fill a PML tote bag with books for $12.00. All proceeds support library programs.
